Standard Conditions Fabric Streamer 0-10mph
There are times when a plastic streamer will not work to the benefit of the shooter. Cold temperatures leave plastic tails a little brittle and this can lead to streamer breakage. The fabric streamer is much less susceptible to breakage when the temperature drops. When plastic streamers become wet from rainy conditions, they can and do wrap themselves around a stand and 'lock' the wind flag. This prevents the vane from providing accurate readings. Sometimes they'll release, other times they will not. Fabric streamers will offer advantages over these set backs. They are not infallible BUT the pros outweigh the cons. Fabric streamers will outlast plastics by a factor of 10. At least. Buy once, cry once so the saying goes. Fabric streamers are extremely durable and come in range of sensitivities. From 0-5mph , 0-10mph, 10mph+ , and Long Range versions (made to be visible at 200yds. or more). Sensitivity is important when shooting 22BR or air rifle. Long range shooting visibility is also a consideration. Whats happening nearby may not reflect what is happening nearer your target. Being able to visualize easily can be advantageous.
This offering will provide the shooter with dependable readings in mid range conditions of approx. 5-15 mph. they come in a number of colors. All of our streamers have been designed in such a way so as to reduce 'dancing'. The idea is to have a stable tail that floats on the breeze without wagging excessively from side to side or up and down. once the wind changes direction the tail will find its place and give the shooter ample time to calculate wind speed. Try one out. We're pretty sure you'll be happy with the results!
